BigHit Music is set to debut a new boy group this coming August, marking its first boy group launch in six years since the debut of TXT.

Although details such as the group’s name and member lineup remain under wraps, the label has confirmed that the debut preparations are in their final stages.

This upcoming group will be BigHit Music’s first new act since TXT in 2019 and, more broadly, HYBE’s newest group since PLEDIS Entertainment launched TWS in early 2024. Despite the lack of official information, anticipation is already building rapidly among fans.

Having firmly established itself in the boy group market through the global success of BTS and TXT, BigHit Music is expected to make another major impact with this new act. The timing of the debut is also gaining attention, as it aligns with the anticipated return of BTS members currently completing their military service, raising expectations for future synergy between the groups.

Rumors are already circulating that the group consists of members with both strong visuals and exceptional talent. As speculation grows, all eyes are on what musical style and performances the group will bring to the stage. With their debut just around the corner, the K-pop scene is set to be shaken once again.
