BTS members V, Jimin, and j-hope celebrated the anniversary of their beloved fandom, ARMY, with heartfelt messages and tributes on July 9.
V posted a photo on the fan communication platform Weverse along with the message, “Happy ARMY day.” He added, “Wishing you the happiest day today,” sending warm wishes to fans around the world.
Jimin shared a glimpse of himself working in the recording studio. In his video message, he said, “Today is ARMY‘s birthday. Happy birthday. I love you. I’ll work hard on the album and return soon.”
J-Hope uploaded several touching photos to his social media, capturing moments of connection with fans, including scenes of holding hands, singing together, and concert venues glowing with ARMY Bombs. He also wrote, “Happy ARMY day.”

The name ARMY, which stands for “Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth,” was officially adopted on July 9, 2013. The name reflects the idea of being together with BTS, like soldiers with bulletproof vests, always supporting and protecting one another.
BTS recently began a songwriting camp in the United States. Starting on July 6, RM, SUGA, Jimin, and Jungkook began gathering in Los Angeles. J-Hope and Jin are expected to join later after completing their respective schedules.
This marks the start of preparations for BTS‘s first full-length album in six years. All members are participating in the planning of the album’s concept, direction, and songs. The group is expected to remain abroad for around two months without any current plans to return to Korea during that time.
RM previously shared, “This will be our first album in six years. We are going to create something incredible. The songwriting camp will start in the United States and continue in various locations.”
BTS is aiming to release the new album in the spring of 2026. After the release, they plan to go on a world tour to reconnect with ARMY across the globe.
