Well, it seems like that family extends further than just the members, as shown in the recent documentary J-Hope In The Box. The documentary about member J-Hope follows the idol as he prepares for the release of his debut solo album and much more.

During the documentary, J-Hope melted hearts when he went home to see his parents.
From the minute he entered the house, it was clear how proud they were of J-Hope. After seeing all the merchandise they have, J-Hope even pointed out that he had more to give them following the release of his album.
Despite the things she had up being old, J-Hope’s mum revealed that she would find more space for the new things, adding, “I’m not throwing any of it away. Everything stays. I’ll find more space.”
As supportive as J-Hope’s parents are of him, it seems like their love extends to the whole group. In a clip that is gaining attention online, J-Hope’s parents truly show that the BTS family is bigger than just the seven members.
J-Hope’s mom asks her son about the youngest member Jungkook, saying, “Is Jungkook awake?”
Unsurprisingly, J-Hope knows Jungkook well as he replies, “He is. I bet he stayed awake all night.” He even added that it was the same case for Jimin.
Although it isn’t uncommon for idols to have unique sleeping habits, even J-Hope seemed shocked about the schedules of his younger members.
Luckily, it seems like J-Hope’s dad was ready to defend the youngest members from his son’s shock about their sleeping habits. J-Hope definitely got his humor from his dad as he explained, “They’re younger than you.”
Even J-Hope seemed taken aback by the comments as he hilariously didn’t want to be made to feel that much younger than Jimin and Jungkook.
