BTS’ Jungkook has been announced as the co-headliner of the ‘2023 Global Citizen Festival‘.
The ‘Global Citizen Festival’ announced Jungkook has been added to the 2023 musical festival’s lineup as a co-headliner alongside Anitta, Ms. Lauryn Hill, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The festival is hosted by the international advocacy organization Global Citizen, which aims to call on world leaders to address concerns about the climate crisis, equity for women and girls, and poverty.
Jungkook expressed, “I’m so thrilled to join this year’s ‘Global Citizen Festival’ as a headliner! The festival sheds light on important causes and drives action, and I’m happy to take part in it. I can’t wait to perform in front of many people at the Great Lawn in Central Park.”
The ‘2023 Global Citizen Festival’ is behind held on September 23 at New York City’s Central Park. The lineup also includes Megan Thee Stallion, Conan Gray, Stray Kids, D-Nice, and Sofia Carson. Viewers can tune in live on ABC and streams on online platforms.
