On September 1, which happens to be BTS Jungkook‘s birthday, the K-Pop artist’s solo debut song “Seven” was announced as one of the nominees for the Song of the Summer category at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs)!

He’s one of sixteen other nominees for the category, including “Cupid” by FIFTY FIFTY and “Do It Like That” by TXT and the Jonas Brothers.
Some of the other non-K-Pop artists nominated for the category include Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift.
Voting for the category begins on September 7, so make sure to join in if you want your favorite song to win!
