
Jin of BTS has been officially named the new advertising model for Dongwon F&B’s signature product, Dongwon Tuna.
On July 22, Dongwon F&B announced Jin’s appointment and released a teaser video on YouTube at noon, marking the start of an extensive marketing campaign. The teaser features Jin’s solo track “Super Tuna” as background music, building anticipation for the upcoming full-length advertisement. The official commercial is scheduled to be released on July 27, and the company will follow up with weekly short-form videos on social media throughout August.

In addition, Dongwon F&B will launch a special BTS‘s Jin edition, which includes tuna cans featuring Jin’s photo and collectible stickers. The campaign is expected to generate strong engagement from fans.
Jin’s selection as the brand ambassador was inspired by his viral solo song “Super Tuna,” released in 2021. The playful dance track was inspired by Jin’s personal hobby of fishing and has amassed over 100 million views on YouTube.
From singing about tuna to now promoting it, Jin’s fun connection with the sea continues as he takes on a new role as the face of Dongwon Tuna.
