BTS leader RM has surprised fans with honest remarks about their agency, HYBE, during a full group live broadcast.
On December 21, all seven members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—gathered on Weverse to chat with fans.

While discussing their grand plans for a 2026 comeback, RM suddenly made a pointed comment about their agency.
“I wish our company had some affection for us,” RM said.
The members reacted differently. Jimin burst into laughter, while J-Hope asked, “Why? What’s the reason?” Jin defended the company, asking, “Doesn’t the company care? They work hard for us.” RM responded, “I don’t usually say things like this, right? I just don’t know. I wish they would look after us and treat us with more care.”
This isn’t the first time RM has expressed frustration recently. On December 16, he complained about the delay in announcing their comeback schedule, saying, “I’m going crazy wanting to comeback. When will the company announce it?”
RM also opened up about his mental struggles. He confessed that he had thought about disbanding or stopping the team thousands of times. However, he emphasized that he keeps going because of the love between the members and the fans.
He also addressed why the group was inactive in the second half of 2025 despite members being discharged. “There was a reason we decided not to be active… but I can’t tell you everything. I don’t have the right to say it,” he admitted, revealing he has suffered from severe insomnia recently due to the pressure.
Despite the heavy topics, the group promised a massive year ahead. “2026 will be BTS‘s year,” RM declared. “Something really big is coming.”
