BTS has claimed the No. 1 spot in brand reputation rankings for April.
According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, on April 17, BTS topped the idol group brand reputation rankings for the month. Seventeen came in second, followed by IVE in third place.
Director Koo Chang Hwan of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute stated, “In the April 2025 idol group brand reputation rankings, BTS (RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) ranked No. 1,” adding, “In link analysis, the top terms associated with BTS were ‘donate,’ ‘perform,’ and ‘release,’ while in keyword analysis, the most prominent terms were ‘ARMY,’ ‘Billboard,’ and ‘military hiatus.’”
This month’s top 30 idol group brand reputation rankings were as follows:
BTS, Seventeen, IVE, SHINee, aespa, Big Bang, BLACKPINK, KiiiKiii, LE SSERAFIM, Oh My Girl, H1-KEY, Stray Kids, The Boyz, TWICE, EXO, Red Velvet, (G)I-DLE, ATEEZ, NCT, H1-KEY, Monsta X, FIFTY FIFTY, BOYNEXTDOOR, ENHYPEN, fromis_9, NMIXX, Izna, BABYMONSTER, RIIZE, and INFINITE.
The brand reputation index is a metric created through big data analysis that identifies how consumers’ online behaviors influence brand consumption. The analysis of idol group brand reputation evaluates both positive and negative perceptions, media interest, consumer engagement, and communication volume. Qualitative evaluations from the Brand Reputation Monitor are also included.
Idol group brand reputation combines both boy groups and girl groups into a unified brand category, measuring participation index, media index, communication index, and community index to calculate the overall brand reputation index.
