BTS‘s J-Hope celebrated his 30th birthday on February 18, 2024. Even though he is currently in the midst of his mandatory military service, he was still surrounded by love from his fellow soldiers, fans, and family and friends on his special day.
J-Hope made a rare return to social media for his birthday, following his military enlistment on April 18, 2023, and shared photos from his celebrations and the banners ARMYs hung in his honor.
On February 17 (EST), BTS’s official social media pages teased a trailer and a concept image with “HOPE ON THE STREET” and “COMING SOON,” leaving many to wonder what gift was in store for ARMYs on J-Hope’s birthday.

The mystery was solved with an official announcement from BIGHIT MUSIC, which they posted on J-Hope’s birthday. The company announced that HOPE ON THE STREET referred to a new special album with six new tracks from the BTS member and an accompanying docuseries, which will be released on March 29, 2024.
The docuseries and special album promise to take a look back on J-Hope’s dance journey.
