BTS member Jimin made a surprise live broadcast from Paris in the early hours of October 2, sharing heartfelt reflections and updates on his future plans with fans.
The broadcast came just before his return to Korea, following his attendance at the ‘Dior Spring/Summer 2026 Collection Show’ on September 30, where he represented the brand as a global ambassador. Speaking from his hotel room, Jimin responded to fans asking about concert preparations: “There’s nothing scheduled yet for performances. I’m working hard on the album right now, and I’ll try my best not to delay it any further. It’s about time for BTS to make a comeback.”
Regarding the new album, he said:“I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve been putting a lot of effort into this project, and I’m curious about how you’ll feel when you hear it. For us, it’s becoming a very meaningful and cherished album.” He also assured fans that long hiatuses are over, adding that he has been focusing on running and dieting to prepare for the group’s return.
The live session marked Jimin’s first public remarks after a personal controversy in which a video with his ex-girlfriend surfaced, confirming their past relationship and breakup. Addressing this indirectly, Jimin shared a candid reflection: “I always want to show my best side, but living life well isn’t something easy. Becoming a good adult and living a good life—it’s not simple. Sometimes I feel like I’m just pretending to be an adult. But I’ll keep doing my best to live well and show you the best version of myself.”
Before ending the live, he reassured fans: “Please don’t worry about me. As long as you’re healthy and happy, that’s all that matters. I’ll be back soon to show you more. See you in Korea.”
With these words, Jimin left fans both comforted and eager for what’s to come, heightening anticipation for BTS’s much-awaited comeback in the first half of next year.
