Yet, amongst the sadness, it seems like one person has cemented a new role in BTS to make ARMYs LOL even in the hardest times, and it’s none other than the oldest member Jin.
Jin enlisted in December 2022 and has been active on social media after completing his basic training. Whether it’s posting pictures on Instagram or Weverse…
Or, more importantly, making jokes, Jin has definitely become the mood-maker online. In particular, ahead of J-Hope’s enlistment, the group’s oldest member has been gaining attention for his “savage” comments. When the announcement was made, he shocked fans with his witty comments to both J-Hope and Jimin.

He then shocked fans by revealing J-Hope’s enlistment date by commenting on an old post with “Kekekeke D-1.”
After J-Hope’s enlistment, it wasn’t surprising that some of the members shared their own thoughts on the event. RM particularly made ARMYs sob as he shared the photo with the caption, “See you soon.. brother.”
After using his leave to join his members to wish J-Hope well, Jin also posted photos seen online. With the proportions of Instagram being different from Twitter, he even cut himself off to ensure the other members were seen.
Although the thought behind Jin cropping himself so all the members could fit was sweet, ARMYs couldn’t stop LOL’ing at the contrasting message. Under his Instagram post, Jin was simple and blunt as he wrote, “Next person.”
When the post was shared, ARMYs couldn’t get over Jin’s approach to the enlistment, adding that he knew the perfect way to make fans smile during such a hard moment.
