BTS‘s Jin has made history while serving in the military, and it’s been made even more special because it’s all to do with the group’s 10th anniversary.
Since debuting, Jin has always managed to make an impact.
Even after enlisting for his mandatory military service at the end of 2022, the idol has been making a statement by showcasing his visuals and charm in any way possible.
Well, it seems like Jin continues to make history even while serving in the ARMY. June 13 marks BTS’s anniversary, and 2023 is even more special as it marks exactly ten years since the group debuted.
Although Jin might be enlisted, fans are still ensuring that he’s part of the celebrations.
Netizens noticed that ARMYs had put up a special anniversary banner in front of the main entrance of the 5th Division Recruit Training Center with a message congratulating Jin, but also with a cartoon of Jin’s character Wootteo and RJ.
If that wasn’t enough, Jin made history with an appearance in a newspaper.
On June 13, a photo of Kookbangilbo (Defense Daily) with a picture of Jin was released. The newspaper is not for sale to the public but is distributed amongst the Korean soldiers.
There was an ad with BTS’s Jin on the cover congratulating the idol for his tenth anniversary but also support for those serving in the military.

Although it was an impressive achievement for the fan account @PRForJin who made it happen, but bigger for Jin, who became the first celebrity to appear on the cover.
The cover was shared online amongst fans, and ARMYs couldn’t stop sharing their reactions to the huge moment for Jin on such an important day for the whole group.
