On November 5th, the YouTube channel Salon Drip 2 released a video titled “ARMY, our Jin is doing great” where BTS’s Jin talked about his connection with Park Myung Soo.
During the show, Jang Do Yeon mentioned Park Myung Soo’s earlier appearance on the program, where he proudly spoke about his friendship with Jin, saying he had even given Jin some of his homemade makgeolli, a rare batch of only 30 bottles. She asked Jin if that was true.
Jin replied, “When I make that drink, it yields about 30 bottles, and it takes around three months to brew. I only have around a dozen celebrity contacts, so I thought, ‘I’ll give one bottle to every celebrity I know.’ That’s why I shared one with him, but I think Park Myung Soo may have misunderstood my intentions a bit,” he said, making everyone laugh.
Jin also shared that he recently had a phone conversation with Park Myung Soo. “I saw a missed call from him about a week ago, so I returned the call. Celebrities like me are often awake at 10 or 11 p.m., so I didn’t think it was late,” he explained.
He continued, “He answered while he was sleeping and said he had called because he was bored and wanted to check in. I asked him to come out for a drink, but he said it wasn’t the right time,” expressing his fondness for Park Myung Soo.
