A Chinese woman in her 30s has been indicted without detention for allegedly attempting to trespass into BTS member Jungkook’s residence.

On July 31 KST, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul confirmed that the woman, identified only as A, was forwarded to prosecutors on July 27 on charges of attempted housebreaking.

According to police, A went to Jungkook’s home in Yongsan at around 11:20 p.m. on June 11 — the day of his military discharge — and repeatedly attempted to enter the passcode at his front door. She was apprehended at the scene.

During questioning, A reportedly stated that she had traveled to Korea specifically “to see Jungkook after his discharge.”

Jungkook enlisted in December 2023 alongside fellow BTS member Jimin and completed 18 months of service. He was discharged on June 11 as a sergeant.
