
Fans of BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V, celebrate his song in a meaningful way.
Three years ago today, on March 13, Taehyung released “Sweet Night,” an OST for the K-drama ‘Itaewon Class.’ Taehyung showcased his talents as a singer-songwriter by participating in the writing, composing, producing, and singing of the song.
‘Sweet Night’ went on to achieve massive records, including becoming the most streamed Korean OST in Spotify history, and the song with the most #1’s in iTunes history.
In commemoration of the 3rd anniversary of ‘Sweet Night,’ Taehyung’s global fans added meaning by celebrating the event with donations.
- ‘BTS V UNION’ donated to ‘World Heart Federation,’ the leading voice in the field of global cardiovascular health.
- ‘BTS V Australia’ donated to ‘Kids Under Cover,’ an organization that helps youth who are at risk of homelessness.
- ‘BTS V VIETNAM’ donated food packages to poor families in a local community.
- ‘KTH Paraguay’ donated to LBV PARAGUAY, an organization that supports people in a state of vulnerability in areas of education, social and donation campaigns.
- A fan donated to a program by ‘Houston Children’s Charity’ which provides mattresses, bed frames, sheets, pillows & blankets to over 25,000 children in need
