It has been a year since Jin became the first BTS member to enlist in the military for his mandatory service, soon to be followed by J-Hope and Suga. While for Suga, it has been only a few weeks of his special service, both Jin and J-Hope have already completed a considerable amount of their service period. But has military life brought any changes in their personalities?
Recently, RM¸Jimin, V, and Jungkook hosted a surprise Weverse livestream to greet fans together before their enlistment. While the four got talking about their enlistment plans, the topic of Jin and J-Hope came up spontaneously.
V mentioned that J-Hope has gotten much cooler after joining the army, and RM added that his energy has become very “manly.” V jokingly said that his angelic aura had been replaced by that of a scary military trainer!

Jungkook mentioned that J-Hope’s body has changed as well, but Jimin was more focused on the change in his temperament. He mentioned that before J-Hope would call him teasing nicknames when he visited, but now his greetings have gotten much mellower.

On the other hand, V mentioned that Jin’s vibe has not changed at all. Jimin added that the only thing that has changed about him is his tone of speaking.

Meanwhile, Jin is expected to return from his service on June 12, 2024, and J-Hope on October 17, 2024.
