HYBE’s stock continues its upward trajectory, reaching a 52-week high as expectations for BTS’s full-group return fuel strong momentum.
On February 12th KST, HYBE’s stock was trading at 250,000 KRW, up 4,500 KRW (1.83%) from the previous day.
The rising anticipation surrounding BTS’s reunion is a major driving force. With Jin and J-Hope already discharged, RM and V will complete their service on June 10th, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on June 11th. Suga, currently serving as a public service worker, will be discharged on June 22nd.
Adding to the momentum, J-Hope is set to embark on his first solo world tour later this month. His tour will begin with three concerts at KSPO DOME in Seoul (February 28–March 2) before heading to Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, Manila, Saitama, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, and Osaka, totaling 31 shows across 15 cities.
Previously, J-Hope expressed his determination via Weverse, stating, “This year will be incredibly important for me. I have a lot to show you.”
Meanwhile, despite concerns over potential tariffs linked to Donald Trump’s policies, entertainment stocks remain largely unaffected, further boosting investor confidence. Additionally, expectations for the possible lifting of China’s ban on K-pop (Hallyu restrictions) are also driving optimism.
Financial analysts remain bullish on HYBE, citing BTS’s return as a catalyst for increased revenue and profit growth. Many have raised their target prices accordingly.
Beyond BTS, SEVENTEEN, TXT, LE SSERAFIM, TWS, and BOYNEXTDOOR are also expanding their global reach, and further international success could maximize HYBE’s market impact.
