In an unexpected turn of events during the live broadcast of Mnet‘s ‘M Countdown,’ BTS’ golden maknae Jungkook recently witnessed his hard-earned trophy break right after winning #1 on the popular music show.
On this week’s popular music program, NewJeans and BTS’ Jungkook were the nominees for first place, but it was Jungkook who took the win with “Seven.”
Although Jungkook was not present in the studio, he notified his fans through Weverse that he had been watching the live broadcast of the music show.
He wrote on Weverse, “ARMYs thank you for number 1 on M Countdown! Thanks to you, I was able to experience being number 1 twice!!! haha um…but I was watching it realtime…I saw the trophy breaking hahaha..hahahahahahah thank you!!!”
Luckily, ‘M Countdown’ announced through their social media that they will deliver a new trophy to Jungkook. They wrote, “Issue on the trophy breaking into two. Issue on Mr. Jungkook seeing his trophy break. hahaha..hahahahahahah. We will deliever the ‘New’ trophy to Mr. Jungkook.”
