It seems BTS’ RM has indirectly mentioned his mandatory military enlistment during his latest Weverse Live.
On August 12, RM logged onto Weverse Live to chat with fans. On this day, he updated fans on his life and delivered the sad news of his beloved dog passing away.
On this day, RM shared that he’s been keeping his hair short, and it’s been hard to maintain. He explained, “It’s hard to maintain a buzz cut. It gets ambiguous if you don’t shave it. I didn’t shave for a week and it grew out a lot.” He added, “I never shaved like this ever since debut. It’s the first time in 12 years. I hear that I have a pretty head shape.”
RM also talked about drinking. He explained, “I like drinking and I’ve been drinking a lot lately. I heard that the frequency of drinking affects your health, not the amount you drink. So I think I should decrease drinking. I’m not addicted to drinking. Either way, I won’t be able to drink anymore soon, so I think I can allow myself to drink.”
When RM mentioned that he won’t be able to drink soon, many fans speculated that he will also be enlisting soon.
Meanwhile, BTS members have been enlisting in order. Jin was the first to enlist, followed by J-Hope. SUGA recently finished his application to cancel the enlistment postponement and will begin the enlistment process.
