The #lovewinsall hashtag has also surpassed 100 million views in 2 days on the platform and continues to be a trending hashtag a week after the MV’s release.
On Weibo, one of China’s largest social media platforms with over 605 million monthly active users as of 2023, both Taehyung and IU have been trending for a week on the Hot Search List (HSL) section. This section reflects real-time popularity among all users and displays the top 50 most popular hashtags.
Upon release, Taehyung and IU trended for their perfect visual chemistry. Some have praised IU’s vocals, while others have expressed a desire to see Taehyung act more due to his stellar performance.
One of the popular hashtags was of their wedding photos, which surpassed 100 million reads in a few hours and reached 150 million reads in a day.
Four “Love Wins All” videos also trended on Bilibili, China’s biggest video platform, including the full MV and a subtitled version, a clip emphasizing Taehyung’s presence, and another focusing on IU’s chart performance.
Following Taehyung’s Instagram post featuring photos of him and IU from the MV, as well as the release of the Behind-the-Scenes videos, they both trended for the third and fourth time on the Hot Search ranking.
