Earlier this year, IU and BTS’s V (Kim Taehyung) broke the internet with their explosive chemistry while portraying star-crossed lovers from a dystopian world in the ‘Love Wins All‘ music video.
On March 2, IU kicked off her solo concert tour, ‘2024 IU H.E.R. World Tour Concert IN SEOUL,’ at the KSPO DOME. During the concert, IU revealed an unreleased scene from the ‘Love Wins All’ MV for the VCR, which went viral on social media.
In the short clip, Taehyung is driving a car with IU sitting on his lap, her arms wrapped around his neck. Both of them are dressed in wedding costumes, sharing a hug and looking peaceful in each other’s arms.
The scene depicts a happier ending, contrasting with the tragic one they had in the MV. Some interpreted it as the ending the couple imagined for themselves, or as part of the afterlife.
While the official ending was impactful, fans who cried over their heartbreaking end were glad to catch a glimpse of a happier conclusion to their story.
