V of BTS was recently appointed as the brand ambassador for the award-winning Japanese skincare brand Yunth, marking his official entry into Japan’s beauty industry.
On November 5, Yunth unveiled new promotional photos and a commercial film for Taehyung’s first campaign with the brand. The newly released visuals reflected his sensuous beauty, which perfectly matched Yunth’s aesthetic.

The commercial ad is scheduled to begin TV broadcasting across Japan on November 13, marking V’s first-ever solo commercial appearance in the country.
In the video, V exudes elegance in a chic greige double jacket, mesmerizing viewers with his natural beauty, playful demeanor, and graceful presence.
V’s promotional photos began appearing in select stores across Japan, sparking a buying frenzy among fans. The Yunth Vitamin C serum also topped #1 on bestseller rankings on Amazon Japan and Rakuten.

It seems Yunth may have underestimated his immense selling power.
The following day, the brand posted an update on its official X account titled “Notice Regarding Partial Stock Shortages Due to Overwhelming Response,” stating that several products had sold out in multiple stores, resulting in temporary stock shortages.

V’s unmatched influence, often referred to as the “V Effect,” once again proved its strength in Japan. Known for turning every product he endorses into a sell-out success, Taehyung’s collaborations consistently generate immense buzz across social media and retail markets alike.
