By so doing, Jimin now becomes the FIRST and ONLY Korean Solo Artist to reach this feat, and ‘FACE’ also holds not one but three different records on the platform, namely:
- First and Only Album by a Korean Solo Artist/K-pop Soloist to reach 1 Billion Streams
- Fastest Album by a Korean Solo Artist/K-pop Soloist to surpass 1 Billion Streams
- First 2023 Album by a Korean Act to surpass 1 Billion Streams
‘FACE’ achieved this record in just 153 days. Consequently, Jimin has Joined BTS and BLACKPINK as the only Korean Acts with an album surpassing 1 Billion streams on Spotify, and joins BTS as the only Korean Male Acts with an album reaching this feat.
Notably, Jimin ‘FACE’ has held records for the fastest K-soloist album to reach 200 million streams all the way to 1 Billion streams on Spotify, and even the 100 million record is held by an album with a song where Jimin was involved as a featured artist and it contributes majorly to the record being the most streamed song of the album.
