Jimin has been consistently achieving remarkable streaming numbers on Spotify since the release of his solo debut album, ‘FACE.’ This success has led to multiple new records for him on various Spotify charts, with his presence growing stronger each day on both the Spotify Global and Spotify South Korea artists charts, in daily and weekly rankings.
For the week of May 5th to 11th, Jimin held the #1 position on Spotify’s South Korea Weekly Top Artists chart for a total of four weeks. This milestone makes him the first and only soloist in history to achieve the top spot on this chart for four weeks.
Additionally, during the same time frame, Jimin ranked for an eighth week on Spotify Global Weekly Top Artists chart, securing his place as the longest-charting Korean/K-pop soloist in the history of this chart.
Furthermore, he marked his 61st day on the Spotify Global Daily Top Artists chart, extending his record as the longest-charting Korean/K-pop soloist in the history of this chart.
Additionally, on the 49th day of the album’s release, Jimin reached new milestones both with the album and with both versions of his lead single ‘Like Crazy,’ which saw him extend three of his records on Spotify, all already held by the same singles and album.
‘FACE’ album surpassed 450 million streams to become the fastest album by a Korean/K-pop soloist to achieve this feat, and it already had this record for previous streaming milestones such as from 100 million to 400 million streaming milestones.
The lead single, ‘Like Crazy,’ the original version, surpassed 150 million streams to become the fastest solo song by a Korean/K-pop soloist to achieve this milestone. The song already had this record for previous milestones like the 100 million streaming mark.
The English version of ‘Like Crazy’ also surpassed 110 million streams to become the fastest B-side by a Korean soloist to achieve this feat, and again it already held this record with previous streaming milestones as well.
