BTS member Jin hinted at the inspiration behind his 1st solo album in a cover pictorial and interview with ‘Vogue Japan‘.
Marking an unprecedented occasion in the world of fashion magazine features, Jin will be featured as the cover model for the December issue of ‘Vogue Japan’ and ‘GQ Japan‘ simultaneously, a first for any celebrity in Japan. For his ‘Vogue Japan’ pictorial, Jin showcased sleek fall styles against a traditional hanok set, melding Western and Eastern aesthetics.
During his interview, the BTS star was asked about moments when he feels “himself” the most. He answered, “What makes me feel most like myself is when I make someone laugh. When someone smiles because of me, it makes me feel alive.”
Regarding his present goal as an artist, Jin responded, “It’s my dream to make ARMY members happy. So as long as they’re happy, I can work until I’m exhausted. I am currently in the process of realizing that dream.”
Meanwhile, Jin’s 1st solo album ‘Happy‘ is slated for release on November 15.
