Jin's Midas Touch: Ottogi selected as a representative leading Brand in Korea with Skyrocketing Sales

On March 29, Korean food manufacturer Ottogi was recently named one of the Korea Representative Brands by the BRANDSTARS Selection Committee. Ottogi has been one of the main K-food-providing brands in Asia for many years. This kind of recognition also comes after Ottogi’s remarkable success in the past year.

The BRANDSTARS Selection Committee hosted the 5th 2023 Korea Representative Brand and selected Korea’s best brands by industry.

BTS was selected in the entertainment category for the 5th consecutive year.

Last week, it was reported that Ottogi’s Share of Overseas Sales crossed 10% of its overall sales for the first time in history. A lot of Ottogi’s past year’s success can be attributed to the influence of Jin, who was selected as the company’s model. Jin’s involvement has propelled Ottogi to new heights, with his star power driving up sales and boosting the company’s brand value. K-media constantly calls Jin the ‘Next Generation CF King.’

In the last year, Ottogi’s revenue has increased by at least 15%, despite the struggles faced by the rest of the industry. The company’s sales and popularity have skyrocketed in the overseas market, largely thanks to the commercial endorsement by Jin. At the beginning of 2023, Ottogi has managed to join the ‘trillion won club’ (2.43 Billion USD) and was recognized as a global brand by Korean economic media. The company was founded back in 1959 but has managed to surpass the recording amount of sales only after just a couple of months of collaborating with Jin.
