According to K-media outlet reports on November 30 KST, BTS members Jimin and Jungkook may be receiving their basic military training under the guidance of assistant instructor, Kim Seok Jin!
Jin, who was the first member of BTS to begin his mandatory military service in December of last year, is currently carrying out his duties as an assistant instructor for new recruits at the New Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi province, home of the 5th Infantry Division of the ROK Army. As an assistant instructor, Jin also met up with WINNER member Kang Seung Yoon, who successfully completed his basic training at the Yeongcheon-gun base in July of this year.
Now, it’s possible he’ll be receiving two more special new recruits in December, two of his dongsaengs! It’s believed that both Jimin and Jungkook have been assigned to the Yeoncheon-gun base for their 6-week training, after which they’ll receive official assignments.
Meanwhile, HYBE Labels confirmed earlier this week that all of the remaining BTS members including RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will begin their mandatory military service duties in December, meaning all of the members will complete their duties by mid-2025.
