Kim Taehyung, aka V from BTS, appears to be aware of the new viral meme of him and singer IU for their recent music video.
On January 28, Taehyung shared several behind-the-scenes photos for the music video “Love Wins All” on his Instagram account, while tagging IU, with the caption, “Taejun, Jihye, be happy.”

In the photos, IU and Taehyung are posing in front of the camera in a worn-out wedding dress and suit from the MV. Both have a disheveled appearance while wearing makeup that convincingly depicts bruises and wounds.
In contrast to their ragged appearance, IU and Taehyung convey sweet glances toward each other and portray an affectionate couple with bright smiles.
‘Taejun’ and ‘Jihye’ are the nicknames K-netizens use to refer to Taehyung and IU’s characters from the music video in numerous viral posts on Pann, theQoo, Naver, and Instiz.
It all began when a netizen, mesmerized by the music video, posted, “Now, when I see IU and V together, they don’t look like themselves. They really look like Taejun and Jihye from the MV. I just came up with the names.”
Their names quickly spread online and became a meme, and it appears that both Taehyung and IU also became aware of it.
In a second post, Taehyung shared several unseen photos of himself on the film set with the caption, “Love wins all 👦🏻.”

Two of the photos showed Taehyung holding a red balloon while wearing the black, tattered suit.
In other photos, he posed in different locations within the building where the music video was filmed, with makeup mimicking bruises and a contact lens in one eye.
The photos have gone viral on many platforms, including Weibo, one of China’s largest platforms,where Chinese netizens can’t get enough of the pair’s visual chemistry.
On the trending post on theQoo with over 55,000 views and 420 comments, netizens reacted:
