American rapper Latto‘s (also known as Big Latto and formerly known as Mulatto) past racist tweets have resurfaced in light of her feature on BTS Jungkook‘s song.
On July 13, KST, Jungkook released the MV teaser for his new solo single “Seven,” including an appearance by actress Han So Hee. Yet, no one had expected to see Latto‘s name as a feature. So, shortly after, the phrases “FT LATTO,” “FEATURING WHO,” and “WITH LATTO” trended on Twitter.
While Latto’s feature feels unexpected for many ARMYs, some have discovered that, in some ways, it isn’t all that surprising. Previously, in Latto’s “Put It On Da Floor Again” music video, she played with what appeared to be a TATA plushie, V‘s self-designed character from BTS and LINE FRIENDS‘ BT21.
