Ahead of the release, V has already given fans a sneak peek at what to expect from the new song, raising excitement with two teaser videos, one short film, and multiple concept photos.
The first teaser, which played a snippet of the new song at the end, was released just days ago. Although the upcoming digital single was announced on March 3, it seems V mildly spoiled the song for fans months ago while filming for the variety show, Jinny’s Kitchen: Team Building, a spin-off of Jinny’s Kitchen.
In the first episode, which was released on November 12, 2023, the Jinny’s Kitchen cast reunited, and interns V and actor Choi Woo Shik found themselves in a car together.
During their car ride, observant netizens realized that V played his unreleased song “FRI(END)S” for his friend Choi Woo Shik months before it was even announced.
