In the new video, he admitted that his trainee life looked much different than most as he focused more on composing than other trainees.

Because of Suga’s composition and production talents, BTS’s Jimin knew who to go to when preparing to record a solo song.

I first met this song when my friend Jimin looked for a song for his own… he said ‘send me a song if you have some.’

Suga shared that he made a beat in his hotel room and sent it to Jimin, but ultimately it wasn’t selected for the younger member to use.

Suga saved the beat for himself and later recorded a song with it in his home studio.

The song became “People” and speaks to the struggles and pain he was going through with other people at the time, and it became his favorite song.

Since it wasn’t on streaming services at the time, it took more effort to listen to, but his friends and peers listened to the song a lot and were moved by it.

Instead of “People,” Jimin’s release became his beautiful song “Serendipity,” showing that the situation worked out well for both artists.

In his video, Suga also discussed his “different” trainee experience. Check out more on that in the article below!
