As part of the ‘Taecember‘ celebrations for Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, fans are ensuring that his handsome face will be seen everywhere in South Korea.
Two fansites are airing birthday advertisements across a total of 5,328 convenience stores nationwide, spanning branches of CU, GS25 and 7-Eleven.
The largest Chinese fan club, ‘China Baidu Vbar,’ is showcasing screen advertisements at South Korea’s major convenience store chains, ‘CU’ and ‘GS25,’ running from December 25th to 31st.
Birthday greetings for Taehyung are airing 100 times a day at all 3,440 ‘CU’ stores throughout the country and 50 times a day at all 454 ‘GS25’ stores specifically in Seoul.
Both are the top two convenience stores in South Korea, with CU leading in terms of the number of stores, while GS25 boasts the highest sales per store.
The fan page ‘ByMySide KookV’ has also announced 24-hour birthday advertisements, airing on digital signage in all 1,434 7-Eleven stores nationwide from December 25th to 31st.
The high daily traffic at convenience stores makes them ideal places for Taehyung’s birthday greetings to achieve wide coverage and strong publicity.
