The upcoming birthday celebrations for Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, are contributing to the festive holiday atmosphere.
China’s Baidu VBar, Taehyung’s largest Chinese fan club, has announced a series of projects to celebrate Taehyung’s approaching 28th birthday on December 30th.
Named ‘Apricity,’ this eye-catching birthday zone draws inspiration from Taehyung’s debut EP, ‘Layover,’ incorporating elements from the album’s aesthetic design and music promotion. The exhibition runs from December 24th to 30th.
At the heart of the exhibition stands an adorable figure: a 3-meter-tall custom-made doll of Yeontan, Taehyung’s beloved Pomeranian, featured prominently on the right. Adjacent to this, a large wall showcasing the album’s cover artwork.
On the left side of the exhibit, visitors are treated to a wall display inspired by the set design of Taehyung’s ‘Band Session’ performance, which contains music posters, vinyl records, and guitars.
The birthday zone exhibition is nestled within the vibrant Seodaemun district of Seoul. Renowned for its youthful and dynamic ambiance, this area isn’t just a hub for restaurants and shops but also a frequent host of cultural events and street performances, making it an ideal setting for the exhibition.
Within the first day of the exhibition, fans have already visited the area and shared photos and videos of the beautiful display.
