BTS’s V has personally spoken up to address new details surrounding the court case between HYBE Labels and Min Hee Jin over the validity of Min’s shareholder contract.
Earlier on February 20 KST, one media outlet reported new details obtained from the HYBE vs. Min Hee Jin trial records. Based on the records, Min Hee Jin’s side submitted KakaoTalk messages exchanged between her and V as evidence to the court, which the court accepted as legitimate evidence for the existence of “opinions regarding ILLIT as similar to NewJeans”.
In response to the realization that his KakaoTalk messages had been submitted to the court as evidence, V wrote via his Instagram story on this day,
“This is nothing more than a portion of an empathetic exchange with an acquaintance in a private conversation. I had no intention of siding with any particular side. I am just somewhat bewildered that this conversation was submitted as evidence in court without my say.”
