More fans will be able to attend BTS’ upcoming concert at Gwanghwamun Square.
As BTS prepares to hold “BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE: ARIRANG” on March 21 at 8 PM KST, organizers have announced the opening of additional viewing areas to provide a smoother and more comfortable experience for attendees.
The newly added space will extend south of the Sejong-daero intersection, covering the area from Gwanghwamun Station on Line 5 to near City Hall Station on Line 1. The entire section will operate as a standing area, and fans will be able to watch the performance through large LED screens installed on site.
Tickets for the additional section will be available free of charge through NOL Ticket starting March 12 at 8 PM. Those who have already secured tickets will not be eligible to reserve the newly added seats.
With the expanded area, the expected number of spectators for “BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE: ARIRANG” will increase from approximately 16,000 to around 22,000 attendees. The final capacity was determined with priority placed on crowd safety and efficient distribution of attendees.
Meanwhile, BigHit Music and HYBE are also strengthening measures to prevent ticket scalping and unauthorized entry. The companies will monitor illegal ticket resale posts online in real time and report them to block unauthorized transactions.
To prevent improper entry, identity verification procedures will be reinforced for all attendees. Additional authentication steps will also be introduced in areas where illegal ticket resale is expected to be more active. Detailed instructions for the verification process will be announced in advance on the official website to minimize congestion at the venue.
