It has been about three months since aespa’s Winter and BTS’s Jungkook were embroiled in “matching couple tattoo” rumors. And recently, Winter was seen covering up the tattoo with a Band-Aid.
The dating rumor about Winter and Jungkook began in 2023, when they were spotted attending a Harry Styles concert and allegedly seated in the same VIP area. However, the rumor subsided and amounted to nothing more than a coincidence.
Then, in 2025, the rumors resurfaced when a netizen purported that Winter and Jungkook owned similar items, including in-ear equipment and matching hats. Additionally, other netizens joined and claimed that the two were seen wearing similar nail polish – a purple nail polish on their ring finger.
Finally, in December 2025, the dating rumor intensified when the two idols were allegedly seen having the same tattoo. The tattoo depicts three dog faces in a straight line and was spotted on the same spot, above the left elbow.
Ever since the matching tattoo allegation, Winter has been under constant scrutiny over her past actions and remarks. This constant watch over Winter continues today, with netizens still gathering in popular online communities to discuss it.
Recently, a netizen brought to attention Winter’s latest photo from aespa’s fan meeting. In the photo, Winter is seen raising her right hand over her head with a Band-Aid over her dog tattoo.
These netizens gave a variety of opinions, with some pointing out Winter’s choice to keep the tattoo, while others criticized the other netizens for continuing to scrutinize Winter.
