In his exclusive interview with Ilgan Sports, veteran actor Lee Jung Jae of the hit series ‘Squid Game‘ talked about how his friendship with Taehyung started after the interviewer brought up their viral selfie together.
Lee Jung Jae shared that he coincidentally met Taehyung at a private gathering. He was extremely friendly, and they later exchanged phone numbers. He was also impressed by Taehyung’s beautiful appearance and personality, which made him understand why he was so loved worldwide.

Their friendship was revealed on December 2021, when Lee Jung Jae posted a selfie with Taehyung on his Instagram account during the height of Squid Game’s popularity. He later shared a second selfie of them at another gathering in August 2022.
