Recently, two singers from Bangladesh gained a lot of negative attention on social media from BTS fans for allegedly plagiarizing RM‘s music video of “Wildflower.”

The singers in question are Sushmita Anis and Tahsan Khan. The duo released a single titled “Harai Bohudur” on February 9 across all streaming platforms. It didn’t take ARMYs to notice that multiple frames of the music video for the song bore awful resemblances to the cinematography of the “Wildflower” video, including the signature fireworks scenes and a similar CGI-storm setting.

Didn’t expect something like this from you Tahsan. Literally everything copied from BTS leader RM’s solo track “wildflower” without credit. It’s his 4 years hardwork.

In fact, ARMYs caught onto the visual similarities of the two videos ever since the singers posted the teasers for “Harai Bohudur” on their individual social media handles and raised concerns about possible plagiarism in the comment sections.

After the issue blew up, the official YouTube video of the Bengali song listed RM’s “Wildflower” as the “inspiration” in its description, but many pointed out that calling it an inspiration instead of admitting that they lifted the visual concept from the BTS member’s music video was a disgraceful move.

Though neither of the singers nor their representatives has made any official comments about the issue, it seems like they have at least gotten wind of it. The YouTube video’s comment section is now disabled, and Tahsan Khan has deleted the Instagram post from his account where he promoted the song after its release.
