BTS member V shared a heartwarming Christmas moment with fans after receiving a surprise gift from a taxi driver.
At around 2 a.m. on December 23rd KST, V went live on Weverse for about three minutes. Appearing slightly excited as soon as he got home, he said, “I turned this on for a moment because I have something to brag about. Listen to this.” He then showed something he was holding in his hand.
V continued, “On my way home in a taxi today, the driver said, ‘This is a surprise gift, a surprise gift. A Christmas present—Turkish chocolate,’ and gave it to me. So I thanked him, really thanked him, and accepted it. I came here just to brag about that.” He smiled brightly as he showed the chocolate he received.
V spent a moment looking at the chocolate, gently turning it over in his hands with a happy expression, clearly touched by the unexpected kindness.
The late-night live broadcast was V’s way of sharing the small but meaningful moment with fans. Fans responded warmly, saying that “the taxi driver gave joy not only to V, but to fans around the world as well.”
The chocolate gifted to V was revealed to be Tubana chocolate from Türkiye. Shortly after the live broadcast ended, the product quickly sold out. Although the manufacturer, Tayas Gida, announced a restock four hours later, the chocolate sold out again immediately, leaving many fans expressing disappointment at missing the chance to purchase it.
The chocolate company later shared a post on its official social media, writing, “A small gift, a big smile. Today, we witnessed a beautiful moment,” along with a screenshot of V holding the chocolate during his live broadcast. They added, “It became a great source of happiness and motivation for us,” expressing their gratitude.
Just days before Christmas, V shared a story that felt like a modern-day fairy tale, reminding fans that happiness can be found not in grand gestures, but in small, sincere moments. The three-minute broadcast once again embodied V’s beloved nickname, ‘MyeongDongYoung(MFM)’—a face like a masterpiece, a heart like a fairy tale, and a life like a movie.
