Netizens have reacted to a British soccer club’s blatant plagiarism of the BTS‘s logo.

Since debuting, BTS has cemented their identity in the amazing songs and performances they put on for ARMYs.

Of course, one of the biggest parts of BTS’s identity is the logo. Although it might look like a simple yet modern logo with two trapezoids, there is a much deeper meaning. While it represents a door opening from the inside, it perfectly compliments the logo for ARMY, which seems to be the same but introverted.

So, when British soccer club Birmingham FC shared a photo with the caption “Soon,” ARMYs couldn’t help but see how it looked identical to BTS’s logo, a representation that has been used for years in the BTS fandom.

When the tweet was shared, it’s not surprising that ARMYs couldn’t hide their shock at seeing something identical to BTS’s logo.

excuse me

Of course, ARMYs heard the sound of lawyers as they pointed out that the club might get a message from HYBE about the use of the logo.

oooooh that lawsuit is gonna be heavy https://t.co/vKfKe4uki5 pic.twitter.com/Y0US8E0yaH

whan in the world is this? 😅

I don’t even know the context behind this post (a collab? I don’t think so..) but, good luck then! bcus this logo is trademarked by the logo’s owner (it’s @BTS_twt, you know?) so I hope u have a good lawyer team!

Yet, netizens quickly realized that the logo and initials were meant to be because they signed South Korean footballer Paik Seung Ho, and they used the BTS logo as the group is a big representation of the country.

Yet, fans still didn’t find it appropriate, with many saying it was disrespectful to insinuate that it was the “logo” to represent South Korea.

Congrats on signing Paik Seung-ho, but you do know that’s not actually a symbol for South Korea, right? It’s BTS’ (trademark protected) logo. I mean, I get it, BTS *are* the most famous Korean men (ever) in the world …

Yall might end up sued for this btw…the bts logo is trademarked and their company dont hesitate to enforce it. Also, it is pretty shady to use this symbol as a symbol for korea, if thats what this post is doing.

The BTS logo is extremely well-known and has been used for years. It seems shocking to many fans that a soccer club could create something using a logo that is identical to BTS’s without someone even pointing out the similarities.
