As always, netizens were incredibly excited to see the outfits different celebrities wore to the 2023 Met Gala.

This year’s theme was a tribute to fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, and as with most Met Gala events, netizens had mixed reactions to almost every celebrity’s outfit. But one outfit that stood out for an unexpected reason, or more specifically to an unexpected fandom, was actor Pedro Pascal‘s.

Pedro Pascal has been gaining more and more popularity for his incredible performances in hit series like Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian, and recently The Last of Us. So Pedro Pascal’s appearance at the Met Gala was highly-anticipated.

But what was unexpected was that his stylish red look gained attention from BTS‘s ARMY, who found the style reminiscent of BTS’s “I NEED U” era outfits.

Fans also jokingly pointed out the similarity to another time when BTS wore all-red suits on a red carpet of their own.

Fans found the unexpected comparison hilarious.
