BTS breaks Tottenham Hotspur Stadium capacity record

By A.R.M.Y AllKpop 08/02/2026

BTS is set to establish a new milestone by filling the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London to its highest recorded capacity. On February 6, 2026, Live Nation UK announced via official social media that the group’s fandom, ARMY, created the “highest single-show capacity” in the history of the stadium. BTS is scheduled to perform at the venue on July 6 and July 7, 2026, where they are expected to meet approximately 120,000 fans over the two-day period. The event will feature a 360-degree stage design, which was planned to provide an immersive experience and allow for the maximum number of spectators to attend.

BTS will officially commence their massive world tour, consisting of 82 performances across 34 cities, starting at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on April 9, 2026. Demand for the tour has been exceptionally high, with all three initial shows in Goyang and 41 scheduled performances across North America and Europe selling out shortly after ticket sales opened. In conjunction with the tour, the group will release their fifth studio album, ‘ARIRANG’, on March 20 at 1:00 PM. A special comeback event titled ‘BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG’ is scheduled for March 21 at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, and the performance will be streamed live to over 190 countries and regions via Netflix.

BTS continues to demonstrate strong performance on global music platforms ahead of their official return. As of February 4, 2026, the upcoming album ‘ARIRANG’ ranked number 1 on Spotify‘s ‘Countdown Charts Global’ for three consecutive weeks, an index that measures pre-save figures for upcoming releases. Previous works also remain popular; the music video for ‘Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)’ from the 2019 album ‘MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA’ surpassed 1.9 billion views on YouTube this past January. Additionally, the tracks ‘Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)’ from the anthology album ‘Proof’ and ‘Love Maze’ from the third studio album ‘LOVE YOURSELF 轉 ‘Tear’’ surpassed 100 million and 50 million cumulative streams respectively as of December 2025, earning platinum and gold certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
