BTS bring back 'Run BTS' after 3 years with new season 2.0

BTS’s signature self-produced content ‘Run BTS’ is set to return after three years.

On March 30th at 9 PM KST, BTS released a teaser video for ‘Run BTS 2.0’ through their official YouTube channel, marking its return approximately three years after the last special episode in 2023.

The video shows the members holding a content planning meeting ahead of the full-scale launch of Run BTS 2.0. As they discuss rapidly changing trends, the members propose various ideas, building anticipation for the upcoming episodes.

‘Run BTS’ is BTS’s flagship variety content, which has continued for about 10 years since its debut in 2015. Featuring a variety of games and missions, it highlights the members’ playful charm and has received immense love from ARMY (the fandom) worldwide. The numbers also speak for themselves—between 2015 and 2021, a total of 155 episodes were released, accumulating approximately 140 million views on YouTube. In addition, the 10 special episodes released in 2022 and 2023 surpassed 130 million views. Notably, the 2023 episode “Fly BTS Fly Part 1”, where the members took on flying yoga, alone exceeded 30 million views.

From 2024 to 2025, the momentum continued with the spin-off content ‘Run Jin’, a solo variety show planned by Jin to repay fans’ love with the message that he could “do anything.” The show featured high-profile guests, including Korean national athletes, Japanese actor Yutaka Matsushige, and Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, gaining widespread attention. It also surpassed 100 million cumulative views, proving its powerful global reach.

With its expanded scale, ‘Run BTS 2.0’ is expected to present a new way of connecting with fans, further heightening anticipation.
