BTS member and solo artist Jin has wrapped up the first-day sales for his long-awaited album.
According to the data released by the Hanteo chart, the global artist’s latest album ‘Echo‘ sold approximately 720,000 copies on its first day of release on May 16.
‘Echo’ has now secured its place as Jin’s second-highest selling album in first-day sales, only surpassed by his debut solo album, ‘Happy,’ which achieved around 850,000 sales on its first day. Additionally, its first-day performance makes it the second-best-selling K-Pop album of 2025 so far and the tenth-highest among all solo K-Pop male artists in Hanteo history.
Further, Jin now has three albums, ‘The Astronaut,’ ‘Happy,’ and ‘Echo,’ with over 700,000 copies sold on the platform on their first day of release, the first Korean solo artist to do so.
Meanwhile, ‘Echo’ marks Jin’s second solo mini-album, featuring tracks “Don’t Say You Love Me,” “Nothing Without Your Love,” “Loser (feat. Yena),” “Rope It,” “With the Clouds,” “Background,” and “To Me, Today.”
