BTS Jin’s ‘Don‘t Say You Love Me’ plays at 2026 Winter Olympics Arena

Jin of BTS once again demonstrated his global influence as “Don‘t Say You Love Me” echoed throughout the venue at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

On February 9 (KST), during the Games held in Milan and Cortina, Canada’s Lia Pereira and Trennt Michaud completed their pair skating free program. Shortly after, Jin’s “Don‘t Say You Love Me” played inside the arena, its soft and lyrical tone filling the ice rink with lingering emotion.

“Don‘t Say You Love Me” is the title track from Jin’s second solo mini album ‘Echo’, released on May 16, 2025 (KST). The song reached No. 1 on Spotify’s Global chart dated May 25, becoming the first song released in 2025 by an Asian artist to top the global ranking. It was also recorded as the most streamed K-pop track of the year.

Jin’s music has consistently been selected for major international platforms. In December, “Don‘t Say You Love Me” was used as background music on the French audition show ‘France’s Got Talent’. At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, his solo track “I’ll Be There” was featured in a Dolby promotional campaign.

His songs have also appeared in sports broadcasts. “Running Wild” aired during coverage of an NFL game between the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions in December 2024, while multiple tracks were featured during a June 2025 presidential election special broadcast in Korea.

Jin’s connection to the Olympics continues as well. In July 2024, he participated as a torchbearer at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. U.S. Billboard previously named his participation as one of the anticipated highlights related to the Olympics, while French magazine Paris Match spotlighted him as the only foreign participant among the torchbearers.

With “Don‘t Say You Love Me” resonating inside the Winter Olympics arena, Jin’s music has once again expanded beyond global charts into the world stage of international sports.
