BTS’ youngest member, Jungkook, has unintentionally revealed his personal TikTok account to the world.
Fans were curious after catching a glimpse of the idol’s private account on the popular social media platform.
This revelation occurred when Jungkook decided to share a “Seven” dance cover video done by two of his juniors from BOYNEXTDOOR on TikTok. When he shared the clip, he failed to realize that his personal account name would be displayed with it.
After he noticed that he had unintentionally revealed his personal TikTok, he immediately took to Weverse to share a message with fans.
He wrote on Weverse, “Ah, I shared a TikTok now everyone knows my account lol (Ah, I had my nickname as Ian…that’s embarrassing…) That’s right, it’s me, but I won’t do TikTok (on that account), it’s for viewing. I hastily changed to JK…I’ll leave it since everyone knows now lol it’s rather better (this way).”
A few minutes later, he added, “Ah…so embarrassing… Sigh…Don’t make fun of me the next time you see me.”
Fans found this unexpected incident hilarious and adorable because many of them knew that Ian was one of his stage name candidates. In a past talk show, Jungkook revealed that ‘Seagull’ was among the candidate, along with ‘Tattoo’ and ‘Ian.’
So fans thought it hilarious when they found that he had used ‘Ian’ as his account name for his hidden TikTok.
Now that Jungkook’s “Ian account” was revealed to the world, his fans are now referring to him as “Ian” and making jokes about it. After seeing his fans poke fun, Jungkook wrote on Weverse, “Stop making Ian memes,” and even wrote on his TikTok profile description, “Don’t make fun.”
As of this writing, the @letjungcook97 TikTok account has over 2 million followers.
