Jungkook of BTS has once again captured attention with a heartwarming story showcasing his thoughtful personality.
In a recent WIRED interview segment, “Answering the Most Searched Questions,” the members shared behind the scenes stories highlighting Jungkook’s well known “golden maknae” (the youngest member who excels at everything)
qualities.
When asked where he learned to cook, Jungkook replied, “I learned knife skills in the military,” adding that he enjoys cooking on his own while watching videos. He enlisted in December 2023 and served as a cook in an artillery brigade after completing basic training.
Fellow member Jimin revealed that Jungkook even injured his hands while cooking during his service, emphasizing his dedication.
Meanwhile, Suga shared that Jungkook recently prepared 200 “Dubai chewy cookies” for staff at a filming site. Jin added that he had also brought around 200 cookies on another occasion, further highlighting Jungkook’s generosity.
When some members mentioned they had not yet tried the cookies, Jungkook responded warmly, saying he planned to make them again that very evening.
Members also praised his overall cooking skills, with J-Hope noting that he can cook dishes like pasta, while V shared that Jungkook often cooks at home as well.
The conversation also touched on Jungkook’s nickname “golden maknae.” When asked about its origin, J-Hope explained that it reflects his all around abilities, while RM added that the nickname dates back to their debut and is even tied to a “gold themed” prenatal dream, drawing laughter from the group.
