On July 22, during a live broadcast on Weverse, the fan community platform, Jungkook engaged with his fans candidly and openly.
During the broadcast, Jungkook acknowledged that he had been drinking and humorously shared, “I’m drunk, so let’s talk about this. But even if I wasn’t drunk, I would have said the same thing.” Despite his light-hearted demeanor, he took a serious tone when addressing certain concerns raised by fans.
Addressing the criticisms that he should avoid broadcasting while under the influence, Jungkook passionately expressed his stance, urging everyone not to interfere with his decisions. He shared, “I guess people will watch this live and say ‘Jungkook is drinking and doing broadcast again,’ So what? Do you guys not drink? Don’t you say this or that after drinking? Just chatter away.”
He emphasized that he had previously spoken about this matter in an interview, reiterating his genuine desire to take care of his fans and appreciating their kind words and support.
