The American Music Awards (AMAs)has announced 2022’s list of nominees!
BTS have had a variety of nominations over the years ranging from “Favorite Social Artist” to the highest award of the night, “Artist Of The Year,” and have won each category they have been nominated in at least once.
This year, the group is nominated for the “Favorite Pop Duo or Group” for the fourth consecutive year in a row! They’ll be facing off against other superstars like Imagine Dragons, Måneskin, One Republic, and their “Universe” collaboration partners, Coldplay!

The group are also nominated for this year’s brand new “Favorite K-Pop Artist” category alongside SEVENTEEN, TXT, BLACKPINK, and TWICE!
BTS made history in 2021 by winning all three categories they were nominated for (“Favorite Pop Duo or Group”, “Favorite Pop Song”, and “Artist of the Year”) and fans are hoping they’ll win big again this year!
Voting for “Favorite Pop Duo or Group” is open now and can be done on the Billboard website or on Twitter. Full voting guidelines can be found on the AMAs website.
The AMAs will air on November 20 at 8 PM ET on the network ABC.
