BTS’ RM garnered attention for keeping his promise to the director by attending the VIP screening event for the film ‘Rebound.’
On April 3, RM attended the VIP premiere of director Jang Hang Joon‘s film ‘Rebound’ held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. On this day, RM was spotted wearing a casual outfit in a plain grey short-sleeved shirt and jeans.
It was revealed that there is a special reason that RM attended the VIP screening event.
Director Jang Hang Joon has revealed on various radio shows, and talk shows that he had invited RM. He shared, “When I talk to someone I never hide my intentions or objectives. So I told RM, ‘Namjoon, I want to benefit from you. If you have time please come.'” The director explained that RM said he would attend the event if he didn’t have any other schedule that day.
RM attended the event and showed his support for the director, and even shared a message of support on his Instagram story.
Director Jang Hang Joon and RM formed a relationship after they appeared in the new tvN show ‘The Dictionary of Useless Human Knowledge.’
Meanwhile, the film ‘Rebound’ tells the true story of the 2012 national high school basketball tournament, where a new coach and the weakest basketball team with only 6 players were able to participate in the national tournament.
